Sparkle & Shine

Blazer: Primark    Top: Zara      Leggings : DaisyStreet      Shoes: c/o Matalan (sold out)
Necklace: Forever 21     Ring: YSL        Handbag: Mulberry

How A-MEH-ZING are these leggings!!! I'm more of a dress and skirt girl normally but when I saw these bad boys I was like a moth to a flame/ magpie to a sparkle - well you get the idea I LOVE them!
They are the perfect alternative to wear over the party season instead of a dress - hello stretchy waist on Christmas day - yes I will have that extra mince pie!

I paired them with my favourite Matalan shoes of the moment - which have sold out online but still available in a few other colours and in store and my amazing new necklace from Forever 21 this is basically an outfit of all my new favourite things!

I hope you like as I'm currently feeling pretty sorry for myself as my wisdom tooth has decided to try and reappear and my entire mouth and jaw is swollen so I definitely don't look as sparkly as this! I've got an emergency dentist appointment today and I'm hoping they can give me something to help with the pain so I can get back to my sparkly best!
Hope your having a better Sunday.

Mermaid Tales

Dress: c/o Matalan    Shoes: c/o Matalan    Handbag: Independant Boutique    Earrings: Aldo

I must admit when I first spoke to the lovely Matalan ladies at the Carat Media Event, full post here, and was given the A/W catalogue I was a little dubious about what I'd find inside as its not a shop I would normally venture into. However I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of items I actually really wanted so when Matalan got in touch and asked me to put together an xmas partywear post I was blown away by the amount of things I wanted to get and spent a good few days deciding what to pick. Seriously if you haven't already do check out the Matalan website here its worth a look.

Any who I choose this beautiful sequin drop waist dress and paired it THE MOST amazing pair of shoes!! I've wanted a pair of pointed courts for a while and had bought a pair from Forever 21 a while back and in the end I returned them as they were so uncomfy! However these ones from Matalan are so comfy and only £10!! Yes you read rightly only £10 and they do them in so many colours I'm sorely tempted to buy them all at that price!

So anyway less rambling this is the outfit I put together and my full styling tips can be seen on the Matlan blog here. I hope you like it! Putting the tree up for the photos put me in such a festive mood and as far as I'm concerned November 1st is the starting point of Christmas prep so expect a lot more on the Xmas front from me as I love this time of year as I've already bought a load of presents, written a few cards and my advent calendar is already on the wall and taunts me daily!

A Sprinkle of Glitter

Kimono: DaisyStreet  Top: Primark  Leggings: American Apparel
Bag: Zara  Necklace: Forever 21  Watch: Michael Kors

I got this kimono quite a while ago and I've been waiting for some good weather to photograph it within an outfit post, so this weekend saw a little sun and I seized the chance.

Its another DaisyStreet purchase and I love the leopard print and skull print (my two favs combined!) I'm a big fan of kimonos and this one is no exception, however the tassles, are looped which means I have a tendency to get attached to anything I'm passing which was a nightmare when I wore it to a house party a few weeks back! The more I drank the longer I spent attached to things which was a little inconvenient!!

As you all know I've recently hosted by first giveaway to celebrate hitting 100 followers, thank you to all my old followers and welcome to my new followers! Without further ado the winner is...

Beki from Smock to Frock

Congrats! Please email me your address and details so I can send you your prize!
Stay tuned for more exciting giveaways!

What's in my Bag?

I was approached by the lovely Mary from Pop Goes Fashion to take part in her popular blog feature whats in your handbag, its now live on her blog here. So heres a nosey into mine...

My Handbag:
This is by far my favourite handbag and one I use the most, I always wanted a Mulberry Bayswater handbag and my lovely boyfriend surprised me with this one on my 21st birthday. I love the colour it was described a "khaki" by Mulberry but its nearer a beige colour and its great as it goes with both black & brown.

1. My Purse:
This was also a 21st present from my lovely family as they knew my boyfriend was getting me the bag, I love coral as a colour and it provides a pop of colour next to my bag.

2.My Make Up Bag
I always carry my make up bag with me ready for little touch ups, I always have a mini size mascara, concealer, perfume along with my favourite product of the moment the rose Vaseline which really nourishes my lips while adding a little colour. As well as my chanel compact which was an amazing present from my brother (he did good that year!)

3. My Glasses:
I need glasses to see distance & driving so I always carry a pair with me, my thick rimmed over size glasses are my favourite at the moment.

4. My Sunnies:
The weather is crazy at the moment throwing it down one minute and sun the next so I always have my ray bans with me ready to throw on when the sun comes out!

5.My Good Luck Charms:
When I was going through a rough patch in my life two of my friends bought me these good luck trinkets. One bought me the worry stone and the other bought me the lucky heart, I always carry them with me to give me luck and I think they're a really sweet sentiment from my friends.

6. My Keys:
For obvious reasons I have my house keys in my bag but I wanted to feature them as I love the keyring on them that my mum bought me its a little Russian doll, again to promote luck&love - can you see a pattern!

7. My Diary:
This is my life! I have the worst memory so I rely on my filo fax to remind me of work meetings, birthdays and important dates!

8. My Ear Phones:
I love music and whenever I'm walking anywhere I always listen to music so these are my daily essentials! Especially on my daily commute to work!

9. My Phone:

Definitely the most important thing in my bag! I am never off my phone and if I'm honest its normally in my hand rather than my bag I'm constantly on twitter or instagram and checking my emails, I'm addicted!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November

Khaki Jacket: c/o Goddiva   Fur Gilet: Next  Jeans: French Connection  Boots: Topshop
Ear Muffs: Accessorize  Bag: Select Watch: Michael Kors  Turqousie Ring: Spanish Market Gold Ring:YSL

I had my bonfire night a little early spending Saturday night freezing my arse off in a field, as you can gather Bonfire night is not normally a favourite of mine. However my boyfriend loves it so I agreed to a night out in the cold craning my head looking at fireworks.

I did however really enjoy it, helped partly by this little beauty which arrived at my door this week from the lovely peeps at Goddiva who asked me to pick an item and style it up. I fell in love with this faux leather sleeved khaki jacket and thought it would be great styled with a fur gilet for warmth and the bonfire night essentials - boots or wellies, gloves, scarf, ear muffs and/or hat. The jacket was a perfect pick as the drawstring waist cinched me in making it clear it was the million layers I had on not body fat making me look this big!
I was lovely and warm bar the last 5 mins when it felt like my toes had got frost bite and fallen off! But it was well worth it as it was a great night.

Check out the other beauties on the Goddiva Site here including the new collection from Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson. They have also just launched their own tumblr/blog which is featuring bloggers and how they style their Goddiva items, its great for those days when your lacking in inspiration style wise or for those times when your debating on buying an item because you don't know how to wear it. Check it out here.

Hope you all have a fun bonfire night whatever you get up.

In October...

Its actually really strange writing this months summary as I can't believe we are about to enter into November! Where has this year gone?? But hey ho this signals the countdown to Christmas and although the debate rages every year of when is aceptable to start Christmas planning be warned, as far as I'm concerned November 1st in my green light to go into Christmas planning overload, so expect festive posts a plenty from now on as its my favourite time of year - but back to this month, heres a few things I got up to this month.

I Planned Yet Another Party...

You may remember here back in July that I threw my Dad a Surprise 60th, this month it was my mums turn to be spoilt and although it wasn't a surprise I wanted her to feel just as special for the day. On a slightly larger scale to my dads sit down meal with 40 people attending but it was a great day.

I Spent Some Serious Time in the Kitchen...

I lived up to my "Little Miss Cupcake" nickname this month I really wanted to try out the Cookie Monster Cupcake recipe I found on Pinterest this month, check out my pinterest for more creative cake recipes. For Halloween I baked chocolate chip pumpkin cupcakes to give to friends as Halloween presents then finally one of my friends at work received a promotion so I baked Leopard print cupcakes which have got to be my favourite creations so far!

My Little Munchkin Turned 3!

I can't quite believe that my niece turned 3 this month! To celebrate I took her out to an adventure park & farm with inside and outside play area, farm yard animals and an American themed diner on site. So after a few hours of running from one play area to another a hot and ice cream sundae went down pretty well. Though I don't know what she loved more the ice cream or the bendy straws!

What did you get up to in October?
