Bat Those Lashes

Regular readers of my blog will know about my well documented battle to find the perfect mascara after having eyelash extensions for months on end made my own eyelashes fall out!

So heres the latest one I'm trialing - Maybelline Falsie's Mascara, which was one of the most recommend mascaras when I first posted about my sparse eyelashes and I have to say its lived up to the hype.

Its curved brush really lifts and curls my lashes and the black is pigmented giving a great deep dark covering, the only downside is its very clumpy especially around the bottle top, making quite a mess. But I like a heavy coated thick lash so I don't mind it, as it does just that, and for £7.99! You can't go wrong for that price and the proven results it gives. I'm so impressed by this mascara I'm actually on my second bottle however I'm still open to suggestions and I love trying new products so if theres a mascara you swear by and think it can do even better than this, leave a little comment below, I'd love to hear about it!

So an apology is in order for my severe lack of blogging recently *cough* last 12 months, turns out  between planning my wedding, a new job and working all hours god sends I've been a little preoccupied and blogging has had to take a back seat. But I've not forgotten about all you lovelies, it means the world that my readership and followers are growing and recently nudges from family, friends and long standing followers means regular posting will resume from now on. So what have I been up to in the last 12 months? Well let me fill you in....

Valentines Day at Rudding Park - Our engagement party aka the best night ever - All parties this year were 1920's themed thanks to the Great Gatsby - Wedding planning - A holiday in Nice - 23rd birthday celebrations - Winning our wedding rings and becoming competition obsessed - Starting my new job at Matalan as PR & Social Media Co-Ordinator - Halloween Fun - A few culinary creations I whipped up over the year - Works Christmas party and becoming an honorary scouse girl for the night - Hosting Christmas at our new house like grown ups - New Year away in the lakes with the best group of people.
